Dagayla Burks, M.S.H.C.A.

Communications Specialist

Dagayla Burks is the Communications Specialist for the Medical Reserve Corps Program under the Partner Readiness and Emergency Programs Division housed within the Office of Emergency Management (OEM), the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR). Having been a member of the MRC Program Office for more than 11 years, she is responsible for supporting the program's national level communication efforts while also supporting the mission of OEM and ASPR. In addition, she also provides direct assistance to the MRC Network by managing the registration of new users to the MRC Member Resources site, overseeing the application and use of the trademarked MRC logo, and serving as the primary point of contact for the MRC Program.

Dagayla Burks is originally from Ohio. She moved to the Washington, DC area to attend George Mason University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Public Administration. Ms. Burks also has a M.S. in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland University College.
