Northwest Tribal Emergency Management Council MRC This event is scheduled for the Lummi Indian Nation at the Silver Reef Casino and Hotel. All Tribes, Federal, State and Local partners will be invited.
Mineral County Medical Reserve Corps To test capabilities of local MRC unit in an exercise on the local/state level.
Multnomah County Medical Reserve Corps The MRC unit was contacted by the Joint Office of Homeless Services to staff warming shelters. Physician, PA, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse, or Paramedics were activated _______________________________________________ What staff did: When requested by staff or guests, triage guests into three categories i. Medical emergency- call 911, request immediate response, provide basic first aid. ii. Non-emergent medical condition- call 911, identify yourself as medical professional, request non-emergent ambulance response iii. Minor medical condition- reassure, provide first aid or recommend next day follow up care
Coconino County Medical Reserve Corps This exercise will serve as an opportunity for MRC volunteers and personnel from agencies, departments and organizations with lead or support responsibilities for Point of Dispensing operations to assess their ability to effectively and efficiently establish, manage and demobilize a POD in response to a disease outbreak. During this exercise participants will work together as a unified team to meet the challenges associated with dispensing pharmaceuticals to county residents.
Bucks County Medical Reserve Corps This is an optional training for BC-MRC volunteers but a very fun one!
