Coconino County Medical Reserve Corps This exercise will serve as an opportunity for MRC volunteers and personnel from agencies, departments and organizations with lead or support responsibilities for Point of Dispensing operations to assess their ability to effectively and efficiently establish, manage and demobilize a POD in response to a disease outbreak. During this exercise participants will work together as a unified team to meet the challenges associated with dispensing pharmaceuticals to county residents.
Grundy County (IL) Medical Reserve Corps The Grundy County Health Department/MRC was awarded a competitive award and MRC Volunteers are asked to provide information and assistance outside of the mobile dental clinic. Providing information on HD services and vital resources that community members may need.
Bucks County Medical Reserve Corps Trainingspalooza provides all four of our unit's required trainings (Orientation, POD Intro, Intro to Disaster Preparedness, and Psychological First Aid). Volunteers can take as many trainings as they need. We will also offer POD Management at this event.
MRC of Southern Arizona Workshop focused on pandemic preparedness with an emphasis on potential roles for MRCSA volunteers. Presentations include information on Strategic National Stockpile, medical countermeasures and local response to recent outbreaks which may apply to pandemic. A tabletop exercise concludes the workshop.
Bucks County Medical Reserve Corps The Leadership Committee is comprised of BC-MRC volunteers who want a voice in the activities of our unit. This group meets every other month.
