Medical Reserve Corps of Carver County Quarterly Newsletter sent to MRC volunteers
Southwest Utah MRC We will combine with CERT to have a Stop the Bleed training to be better prepared in a major event. Come and see how YOU can be a vital part of saving someones life. You are the help til help arrives.
Southwest Utah MRC There were more than 30 in attendance. It was mostly for Trained Mental Health Professionals, hoping for them to become MRC members; trained and ready to respond in a real event. We also had Emergency Preparedness personnel and MRC present. This will be a significant assist to the communities involved. When there is a large event, the Mental Health professionals and MRC will be ready to respond.
Eastern Shore Medical Reserve Corps In an effort to augment emergency services, the ESMRC will provide 4 first aid units for this large community events. Participants will travel a course back and forth across the Eastern Shore. First aid units are set up along the course to help riders with emergency issues.
Henrico County MRC (HMRC) MRC Volunteer participated in Henrico's Flu Clinic. The volunteers were also able to assist with Mindy Conklin with the FIT (Fecal immunochemical test ) table for colorectal cancer. We had a few volunteers that assisted with flow of traffic in the clinic area and one volunteer that provided vaccinations.
