Region IX MRC Regional Liaison
Jill Littlefield serves as MRC Regional Liaison for Region IX (AZ, CA, HI, NV, Guam, American Samoa, CNMI, FSMI, RMI, and Republic of Palau) for the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Program under the Readiness Division within the Office of Emergency Management and Medical Operations, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She provides technical assistance and support to the existing MRC units in the region and helps people interested in the MRC program better understand the benefits of having a MRC in their neighborhood. Ms. Littlefield works closely with individual units to incorporate adult learning principles into trainings and exercises, coordinate with the goals of the MRC Program and support the mission of ASPR.
Ms. Littlefield previously worked for the State of Florida on emergency preparedness initiatives. Ms Littlefield provided planning and coordination of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) for South Florida. Prior to working on the SNS, Ms. Littlefield worked for the Florida Division of Emergency Management where she served as a member of the Radiological Forward Secretary’s Emergency Response Team (SERT) and coordinated the Intergovernmental Relations Team (IRT).
Jill Littlefield has a Masters of Organizational Development (MSOD) from the University of San Francisco. She also holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in psychology with a specialty in neuropsychology and a minor in political science from Florida State University. Ms. Littlefield lives in San Francisco, California with her family. In her spare few minutes, she is completing courses in management principles.
