Region I MRC Regional Liaison

Jennifer Frenette serves as Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Regional Liaison for Region I (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT) for the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Program under the Readiness Division within the Office of Emergency Management and Medical Operations, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She provides technical assistance and support to the new and existing MRC units in the region. She actively works with MRC State Coordinators and associated partner organizations to assist with the growth, recognition, and sustainability of the program. Ms. Frenette works closely with all involved and interested to advance the health and safety of the nation's communities to coordinate with the goals of the MRC Program and support the mission of ASPR.

Ms. Frenette has a passion for core community values that inspire her tireless work in the MRC and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) as a leader, educator, provider, and advocate. Immediately after receiving her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire, she quickly advanced clinically and professionally in EMS and public health. She is the recipient of numerous awards including an individual recognition award for service from the US Surgeon General, DHHS Secretary of Health Outstanding Team Performance, State of NH EMS Leadership Award, and the Lancaster, NH EMS Attendant of the Year.

She believes in the power of volunteerism and the contributions people provide through their gift of time. She continuously advocates for EMS provider recognition and advancement as a profession. To her accolades she served as the first President of the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride and a Regional Director for the National Association of EMTs. Ms Frenette lives in the White Mountains of NH, enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and discovering unique methods to make the world a happier place!
